Parenting Coordination Fees
A Structured Parenting Coordination Model
My Parenting Coordination practice is designed around structure, proportionality, and implementation. The goal is not ongoing professional involvement. The goal is to help parents develop a workable process for resolving implementation issues efficiently and with less conflict.
Hourly Rate
Parenting Coordination services are billed at $350 per hour.
Initial Retainer Structure
Each parent provides:
$2,500 Active Retainer
Used for intake, file setup, orientation, implementation of the communication and decision-making process, and early Parenting Coordination services.
$2,500 Reserve Retainer
Held to maintain continuity of the process where there are delays, payment issues, or non-participation. Any unused portion is refunded when the Parenting Coordination concludes and all accounts have been paid.
What Is Included?
Parenting Coordination may include:
- intake and orientation;
- implementation of parenting orders and agreements;
- structured consultation processes;
issue management; - review of communications and documents;
recommendations; - determinations within delegated authority;
reports and accounts; and - communication with professionals where appropriate.
The BC Parenting Coordinator Roster Participation Agreement
As a member of the BC Parenting Coordinators Roster Society, I use the current roster Participation Agreement as the foundation of the Parenting Coordination process. The agreement contains standard provisions respecting fees, retainers, billing, confidentiality, reapportionment of fees, and the operation of Parenting Coordination. Individual Parenting Coordinators may adapt certain financial and practice-management terms to fit their practice. View the BCPC Roster Participation Agreement

All Parenting Coordination services are delivered under the jurisdiction and limits set by the appointment order or parent-signed agreement. When acting as a PC, I do not provide legal representation or legal advice to either party.
